Zinc Ingot

Our zinc ingots, with an exceptional purity of 99.99%, deliver superior quality and outstanding performance for industrial applications. With excellent corrosion resistance, they are widely used across diverse industries. Their high malleability also makes them ideal for processes such as casting and extrusion. Thanks to these properties, zinc (Zn) stands out as a versatile and efficient material trusted in a variety of industrial applications.
Zinc (Zn), with atomic number 30, is a shiny, silvery-white metal that is solid and brittle under standard conditions. This semi-metallic element is stronger than tin and lead, but less resistant than aluminum and copper. Zinc is widely used as an alloy and as a protective coating for steel to prevent corrosion. The production of zinc ingots is typically carried out using electrolytic and thermal methods. In the electrolytic process, zinc ions are extracted from an electrolyte solution and deposited as metallic zinc using an electric current. The thermal method involves melting and refining zinc at high temperatures to remove impurities and produce high-purity ingots. Zinc ores are primarily found in underground mines, with sphalerite (ZnS) being the most important zinc mineral.
